The clouds make a staircase from sky to ground. I am informed I must climb. I say, 'My life on Earth is not yet done!' Yes, my Child, it is your time. I am taken to Heaven's Judgement Room. There's no time to plead my case. Innocent or guilty--which will it be? There's no mercy in this place. Thunder announces my name to the Lord. It turns out I'm expected. Is her name written in the Book of Life? Accepted? or rejected? I am accepted, God welcomes me home. There is a celebration. He gives me the keys to my new mansion. Because of His salvation.
Excellent poem, your mansion will be beautiful I am sure,(I will be in the little shack down the road,I think.)Don't forget to invite me up for coffee now and then Karla(wink wink). It is a lovely thought though(the words in your poem) and it makes the hard times worthwhile
knowing there is a better place elsewhere, you are right.
