It's good to cry.


Poem Artwork

They burn, oh, how they burn!
These rotten, necrotic tears--
Born from a secret place
Of nightmares and tortured fears.

Don't make me remember!
I do't want to go back there!
PLEASE LET ME DIE IN PEACE...
I'm so frightened and I'm scared--

Memories come to light,
Don't think I can take the pain,
Tears start to fall once more,
My sanity's maintained.

Each one burns like acid
As it tumbles from my eyes,
As long as I can cry,
Another day I've survived!

Those who can cry, can be made whole again, Karla.
It's the ones who harden themselves against injustice
and harbor hate for the perpetrators, that break
without healing.

It does help to cry; I think we've all done our share, and will continue to do so - But as you so aptly say, 'As long as I can cry,

Tears and screaming, seems to work well for me, Karla...yes I am a man and I cry and scream, most times at my own ineptitude and stupidity, but still I do so...a most cleansing write, you should feel better already! Peace, Ed &^ Rufuz

This is very emotional

Think about those tears and just turn them around to the way they have of cleansing our pains too. It works. Believe me it works. I love your poem.
