~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To confront your fears, Don't behave like the Ostrich Who will not face them. ~~~~~ He wishes them gone. He sticks his head in the sand. It's dark. They've left. Right??? ~~~~~ TOTAL DENIAL. Grab fear by its scrawny neck And begin to squeeeeeze. ~~~~~ Make it say, "Uncle." You have its neck in your hands. You are in control. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (C) Copy written, 15 December, 2004, by Karla Dorman
This is great, Karla! Important message in this. I really like the Haiku done in the chain too!
... think I must be a cross-breed between an ostrich and a giraffe... a pea-brain of ignorance, coupled with a long-neck of foolhardiness, reaching beyond my grasp! Totally blinkered as well... wassup??!! Who's Uncle??!! Not a clue - but this is a very cool write, Karla, TY Kate xx
I fear that Faye is right and that we have a tendency to bury our heads in the sand but then maybe those of us that see won't end up with our heads in the sand.
And begin to squeeeeeze.
