Your traveling wanderer is back on dry land. :-) I'm glad to be home, but it sure was hard leaving after getting spoiled with personal room service, the spa, the food...GAD. I'm ready for another cruise! LOL Next time, though, I'm taking Karen with me--I missed her terribly. I wrote her name on every beach I was on from Galveston Island to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, so she was with me in spirit. :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed my little area of Texas. I love Galveston, especially the beach and the fishing. Nice people, too. I've never been on a cruise, though I know there are several ships now, but I've heard nothing but good things from my friends who have gone. One of my friends bought me a gift from a cruise from Galveston to the Bahamas. I'm sure your trip was just as lovely. Welcome back!

My starlet niece spent time as a "Hostess" on Carnival Cruises a while back - it all sounded absolutely knock-out - mostly because of the people she met, and she was smitten by the all-round feel-good of you wonderful American folks!! Again tomorrow?!! You bet - but you're perhaps right... it needs to be shared with those you love most in order to be enjoyed to the max - and that is what you're doing with us here, and Karen, I am sure, can't wait to be the one to get to go with you in person next time... when does the countdown begin??!! I am so happy things went well; you have memories that will last a LIFETIME!! You really looked good on that boat (BOAT?? Okay, SHIP!! And WHATTASHIP!! WHEE!! LOL Bigger than our apartment!! LOL), cruisin' really agrees with ya! You deserve a well earned rest after your trip; thanks for letting me tag along (even if it WAS in spirit!)!
