I don't, and I won't forget, but way too many have forgotten the horror that went down that day. Good.
The picture alone now speaks of hallowed ground. Your revisiting words are like a moment of total recall that lifts the veil on a sacred wound. Andy is so right... I remember walking into my mother's little home, and she was transfixed to her TV screen at 2.00pm... in a small street, in a tiny West Country town, in little ol England 5000 miles away... you talk of a small moment in time, on a small patch of land that changed the face of the whole globe and shrunk the world to the size of a football forever. A beautiful and emotion-packed chain that garners our minds and hearts always. TY LOL Kate xx
Powerful memories stirred. I think many of us lost some innocence that day. Well expressed my friend.
Peace and (((Hugs))),
