A little better news, if a Cat 5 hurricane can have any...it's expected to weaken some before making landfall, and the projected path after landfall takes it east of the DFW area; we'll still get some effects, but not as bad as first thought. Any deviation westward, however, will put us back in its track. The one GOOD thing about this storm is the beneficial rains we'll get...we're over 10" below normal. 2-5 inches is expected to fall, maybe more; we're nearly ten inches below normal now. ('Course, we may get it all at once, but...LOL) Oh, and cooler weather! How I wish more people could get good news.

You wrap Your hands around me and I encamp in the safety of Your perfect shelter.
I sail bravely through oceans of chaos, because You are the Captain of this ship.

What, then, should I be afraid of? If You decide to take me, I'll see You face to Face at last.
