i visisted New Orleans a few years ago ... it would be a true delight to see it rebuilt ...

I watched the destruction on TV here in the southern most tip of Africa and my heart was sore for all living there. If they rebuild I think every home and building should be no more than two stories and on stilts! Susan
I think that New Orleans will be rebuilt and will become a much better place to live than it was before, though my personal feeling is that the below sea level and sea level areas should never be rebuilt for housing. It was a shame what happened there, but it would be a crime if it happened again. Nice poem, Karla.

As for the pinched nerve, I had it badly for a while,I was put in traction. At first it didn't seem to help, but after a few treatments when I stopped and just used some rotating exercise and advil, it finally went away. I know they ususally flare up again unexpectedly, but it's been awhile so I hope it's gone. Keeping you in prayer.Stay in bed even if you can't sleep, the bed rest at night is more of a healer than we know. I had to force myself to stay
put;-)

Oh, it will rise, slowly, but the city was robbed of its soul, it will never be the same. I wish this were not true, but I am afraid that it is.
I love the "can do" attitude of this! Especially when it comes from one who knows. Though I've never made it New Orleans, you give me a taste of what a vibrant city it has been before and will be once again. Bravo!
