Writing is worth it: even though the trash can is overflowing with the latest attempts to Taser my Muse into creativity.
Writing is worth it: when the Muse awakens me at all hours of the night, demanding to be put to page, I do so, willingly, so I can get some sleep.
Writing is worth it: worth every tear I have cried over words acting like spoiled children that will not stay in place where I've put them. Get back here!
Writing is worth it: even though the Judge threw the book at me, sentancing me to a lifetime of hard labor... a prisoner of the written word.
Writing is worth it: even though I am barely getting by, it's a life I wouldn't change for anything: I've had fun on this long, strange adventure.

Writing is worth it because it is "what we do". It is a calling, of sorts, and we have no choice but to open the door when the muse comes knocking. Great poeming, Karla.
