We can do ANYthing. :)

Poem Artwork

From the color of pain,
we rise;
we spread our wings and soar
above
limitations imposed
on us
by disability.
From the fathomless depths,
we rise;
swimming for the surface,
against
the currents that threaten
to drag
us down in self-pity.
From bodies that betray,
we rise;
we break the chains that bind;
given
half a chance, watch us...and
see what
celebrating life means.

Great poem! Your first line: From the color of pain, we rise; we spread our wings and soar above limitations imposed on us by disability. It is so powerful and we all could learn from the first five words cause it says it all! Super good, girl.
