I love these words, I could feel the still of the darkened sky just waiting for that pot to boil over. I guess it did.
I see Karla, that you are getting so much better with the storms. I recall when you used to write of your great fear of them. The power of storms is amazing and each storm possesses its own special and awe inspiring beauty.

Nice picture! Now that is a very positive attitude to take. Those storms are trecherous!!!!! My cats are not the only ones who get all fuzzed out when the sound of thunder arrives. Glad you are okay!!
What you describe here is the kind of instant-storm like, one moment you are looking at a peacefully sky...and the next moment, with winds of 150 miles per hour, everything goes dark and you are in the middle of a typhoon on the China Sea.

This is an awesome poem about the incredible weather we had today; glad we made it through the stormy period without incident! Yes, God is indeed good! You capture the power of the storm magnificently in this one! What I love most is your attitude; lately, storms don't seem to bother you as bad. Now, ME, on the other hand....LOL *BACKAAAAAAAAAAAAWK!*
