The Bizzness of Storm IZ my business. All I know: my whole life revolves aound them. Hunted/hunting, pursued, pursuing: their power alerts fears to level red, yet their beauty calls me out into the wind, inspires me to write, to capture them on film: this, the life of a chaser.
I've always thought the people who place themselves in harm's way to photograph or report the storms are half insane, since I like to join my cats under the bed, every time there's a thunderstorm, but your poem describes the life of the storm chaser, quite well, Karla.
Storms: your biggest fear, yet your biggest inspiration. WOW! Excellent pic, and very well done poem; continue taking those pix and you'll be in the league of Howard Bluestein and Warren Faidley! This is terrific! BRAVA! Just be careful; that's all I ask...

You capture the beauty of a storm, both in words and film. You are a remarkable woman to take these pictures. I enjoy them and know that you are careful, but BE CAREFUL!
I like this!!! I love the beauty of the storm also but do have the courage to chases them like you. Beauty is everywhere if you can get past the fear to see it.
