The first snow, always the prettiest ...

The earth wears a bridal gown
of virginal purity;
diamonds sparkle on its
satiny surface of white -
the first snow before being
spoiled by the touch of Mankind ...

The first snow or the first of each snowfall is like that to me, it seems to drape all the filth and sins of the world that are perpetrated against Mother Nature in a lovely fur coat of white. Thanks for sharing.
