Another day winds down ...

The hush of evening approaches on
vaporous tracks of color:  yellows,
reds, purples.  See them lead you over
the rainbow, to the home of the sun, to

the right of the moon - just over the
horizon.  The stars climb dusk and set
themselves on high, reminding the day
it had its time to shine, now go to bed.

I love the way this poem leads the reader on the same path as the moon, the sun and the stars. You do an excellent job of drawing the reader in and taking them on a journey right along with you.
