Face the fear and do it anyway! I love this expose of your love-hate relationship with your alter-ego, Karla!!! Like the powerful forcefields of magnets, repelling and attracting. Go tame that tiger!! :)) xx
I, too, wish I could leave my fears behind. Maybe if I could only capture them on film as you do but unfortunately they are of the intangible variety. An excellent work in prose and picture. Rebecca
Karla, a desire to leave the fear behind, wrapped in a pragmatic form -- let's have photographic proof -- very interesting my dear friend -- may peace and love be always with you -- Jon Michael
After being battered with typhons in Chine seas, North Atlantic berserk storms and malevolent high seas currents passing Cap Horn I know that out there is nothing to fear...but fear itself!
Sometimes... sometimes, Karla, I'll walk Kody when the winds are blowing, rustling the limbs and twigs holding the singing leaves and sometimes... sometimes I love the feel of a hard wind on my face, unless, of course, it's a Santa Ana wind drying the hillside brush.
You drew a beautiful picture of geautifully fearsome wind. Well said, my lady!
Your friend in Southern California, Mark
I can truly appreciate this for I love storms...the fiercer the better, when hurricane Juan hit our shores a few years back I was out driving in it with the wind and rain so hare there were white caps on the streets...loved it.
