Raising my face to the sky,
I celebrate: b l e s s e d beyond
measure. Woke up above ground,
with breath in my lungs: how can
I not help but sing? So it's
hot: could be worse. Glad it's not.
A perfect stretch of blue, the
floor of Heaven my ceiling ---
clouds do not think of scuffing.
Isn't life just beautiful?
Counting blessings this morning,
looking up with gratitude. =]
Karla, each of us needs to be more grateful for every blessing bestowed upon us daily, minute by minute. Your, "perfect stretch of blue, the floor of Heaven, my ceiling" is both spiritual and romantic at the same time my dear friend. You captured an emotion and a perspective all in one. My the rest of your day see you joyous, peaceful and loved. Jon Michael
Untold blessings, beautifully and prominently displayed in grateful verse. Very well penned, and that picture is gorgeous! Well done, Karla; brava!
