Oh to know what has always been known
To realize what I have already realized
To understand what everyone feels they understand
To whisper what has never been whispered
To go where I have only dreamed I've been
To capture what I can never feel I've captured
TO ponder what so many have pondered
To worship what I've always worshiped
To linger where only the soul may linger
To brighten what only the sun has brightened
To wonder what it is I've always wondered
The greatest have often had these same thoughts. To yearn and strive to reach your goals shows much character. Always persue your dreams my friend. That is the difference between those who do and those who wish they would have done.
The desire to be unique, distinctive, singular, is an honorable goal to strive after, especially for an artist/writer wishing to expand the boundaries of their chosen form.
The road getting there, however, takes one through wastelands of suffering and profoundly personal experiences. If one survives these necessary challenges and tribulations, chances are this person will become an entirely unique wildflower with an entirely unique voice. I enjoyed your thoughts!
