On tracks I walked on in the rain,
Musing why life doth bring such pain.
Then I walked into a tunnel,
All the pain just seemed to funnel.
I thought just then the end did see,
Back to the pain and the rain.
But wait there is a light so bright,
Maybe things will all be right.
And this will be the end of pain,
I just hope ......it ain't a train

That was good and a bit of humor too. The respite of life in which we find ourselves. A place just void of the pain, of the rain of this life. A place where we are dry and safe for the moment. Where we can both look back from where we came and ahead to where we must go to live on. And that bright light at the end of the tunnel could either be a good Samaritan or a train. Lady J

Can't you just seem him as a cartoon electrified with shock in that final line? I like this delightful muse which speaks of a heaviness but with a light heart. TY Kate xx
A great metaphor on the way life exists for all of us. We cannot predict whether the future holds good or bad but we still must move forard to find out tegardless.
