There is a place my heart longs to be,
A place far far beyond the sea.
Where there's no war and people are free,
To live their lives in harmony.
Harmony, like the melding of an orchestra,
To sound like one instrument.
Separate, yet making one beautiful note together.
The harmony of a choir.
The harmony of the the sea,
With it's endless tidal flow.
Harmony when nature to us she brings,
Annual cycles of autumns and springs.
Harmony where people live in tolerance,
Forgetting hate and ignorance.
Harmony to nudge mankind in the right direction for a change.
Harmony of lovers as two hearts become one.
Harmony with the Divine One and his purpose for us all,
That from His grace we never fall.
Harmony within and without.
Harmony that His love pours out.
A beautiful and peaceful write my friend...makes me desire to press on a little harder to make heaven my home when my time comes to leave this old world! For surely there we will find harmony! Enjoyed this much!

Like a band or an orchestra no matter how hard we tune as the night runs on adjustments have to be made in order to keep that harmony perfect...perhaps that is what you captured here Walt.

A wonderful poem, Salty Walt. And it kind of reminds me of beautiful tiny Ed Island, it's very tranquil here now that all the tourists and party boats have gone home! Stop by for a beer some time, but that old Jersey Devil might charge ya for it.
The ever present ying/yang, like we found far away, in the mystic oriental philosophy of balance, or, as the author said, Harmony.
We are so preocupated by all the dissonances around us that we can't hear the perfect voice of Harmony giving us that sought balance.
