I took this photo one night. Couldn't resist a poem.

Poem Artwork

‘Twas late one night you know I had,
Done got the Munchies, and got ‘em bad.

There’s a tradition down here in Dixie,
We like our hash browns mighty crispy.

Scattered and smothered, eggs to order,
You may as well have been south of the border.
You thought it was grand, maybe had grits,
And wonder why you got the schits.

But when you looked upon the wall,
The Health Department Said, Eighty-Six,
That’s all.

last few days I have been so busy I've missed some reading but I'm glad I caught this one. It's hard to find grits in Missouri except at the "awful" house.

LOL.
You're too goofy, Walter!
For some reason I always feel I need a shower when I get out of that place. We don't have Waffle Houses in Utah, but when we travel south and feel the need for grease, that's where we go.

Down South in Dixie we don't always make the healthy choice when we have an urgency for the delicacy of a Waffle House breakfast. In Savannah it was always a run to the Krystal.

Nothing like food memories.

Susan

Was it that bad? Ummm, haven't been to a W.H. in a few years--I remember liking it last time, but then I easily please. Now, I've been to a few IHOPS in Fl. that would make you think twice!
Where I am now, it would be a long drive to one at night!
I like your humor! Happy Holidays, Walt!

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
