Poem Artwork

Clinging like the ivy in Wrigley Field,
They hold like the Great Wall.
Try to pick them off if you can,
They hang tough.
Always one spur left behind,
To needle you later.
I’ve got one somewhere,
I know the general direction.
It sticks me when I sit,
Maybe if our lawyers would,
What am I saying?
Lawyers do something timely?
Musta been,
Those drugs in college,
Made me say that.

There is much truth in this poem Walt. Lawyers, well they leave me never any less than perplexed. But, usually livid with disgust. Jon Michael Wiley

Pierces my underside, Walt
Twinges my purse cheeks!
Lawyers. . . and their damn time clocks!
It's the Attorney’s disorder, bar-ing counselors of the prickly burs
genus...Cenchrus tribuloides

Well, I say, get a magnifier and a pair of tweezers and pick
the S.O.B. out!
Then do your drugs! LOL!
Love and Peace~

"Stickers" that's what we called them growing up. I recale hurrying home on holiday at Tybee Island and rushed head long into a sticker patch. My father had to come and fetch me out of there. They hurt all night.

Susan

I remember my friend, who was deep in a legal battle, once said: "It is better for the typhoon to beset my property because it still leaves something standing when it's gone, but with my lawyer (no offense meant), you know it's over when everything's gone." Well, I thought she must have taken somethin' that mornin' which made her say that... <smiles

Be well,
Sheri
