When saving fair maidens was second hand?
Ahhh... Walt... you craft into your deft lines here all the courageous and sporting heart of the Knight at Arms and the reasons for his desire for Crusade... That Southern Cross spurring him on! Would it were always for the silk scarf favour of his maiden, rather than the blood-soaked serge of the keepers of religion. The lover's heart shall never be infidel. Can't help but weep a little tear for darlin Heath Ledger in his portrayal of such in A Knight's Tale... xx

An old-fashioned word comes to mind - 'smitten.' They say, "if love is true, it will come back to you." The quest for love is not always an easy road. If the Fair Maiden reads this, perhaps she will deign to give her love to you, noble Knight.
