Incredible poem. Dreams ... definitely real. I think it's all about how one incorporates them into one's life whether they stay in the realm of desire or become an extension of one's being.

I've been stuck in the woods with a tribe of earthling wees, searching for new growth on a particular Maple, that once its branches burst in full bloom, and the branches reach closer to the roof, I can escape! I can escape to another body, you say? Will I still be recognized as "MA!"

Have you ever dreamt that you were flying
Like superman in the movies
and it was so realistic, that you wake when
you suddenly start falling?
I often confuse that with a out of body experience.

I don't want no out of body experience, because being that old maybe lose myself in the beyond and can't find my way back, then I will be looking over your shoulder all the time, how about that?!

Not since I had a 107 degree fever when a kid - I'd love to have one on those mornings when my lower back is just killing me!

Sounds like an over dose of lysergic acid diethylamide. Never experienced anything this weird. The only bad experience I have ever had was from an anesthetic called ketamine. I was given that when I had an 8.5 hour surgery a few years ago. But it was not an out of body experience. Just disorientation, double vision, nausea and a complete lack of physical coordination. I don't want anything like that again. Can't relate to this one personally Walt. This was just an idea wasn't it? Jon Michael Willey

This composition leads me on to ponder on metempsychosis and interplanetary colonization of souls' "Out of Body Experiences". I like the esoteric message revealed through its exoteric rings of ideas and questions.

Well, I can honestly say I did have one out of body experience but in all honesty it was after smoking some of the best weed to come out of the sixties...still scared the hell out of me at the time. Now as for dream world drifting...done a lot of that too but usually left me with great feelings and happy memories.
