Heart in shards all around the campfire,
Picking them up one at a time and, Tossing them into the beautiful blue flames near bottom of it.
A pause to reflect, nay!
Every shard thrown in has the reflection of what once was my reality.
Days are different now.
Time to reflect, but I see it every time I throw a shard.
Human touch is what I crave most,
A loving kiss, holding hands,
The missing part of my existence.
But Lord....it has been so long,
Gosh it went so fast.
My Viagra's expiration date,
Has really long since past.

You are too much!! I thought I was reading such a heart wrenching poem and you hit me with that last line. I think you just want us to think you need it LOL!! Not the hugs, the viagra.
the V stuff is dangerous - you don't need it. She (whoever she is) will come around in time - meantime, time to make best friends with your soul and while you're at it add a few more to your list... You're honest and always personal writing can do that well.

Love the twist Walter, reminds me of a commercial I saw on TV last night of a bunch of country singers Jammin and one breaks into the old Elvis Classic Viva Las Vegas except his version is Viva Viagra.
