I wandered, aimlessly searching,
For all intents lost.
Dwelling on the past for all to see.
Not realizing the cost,
The toll that had been extracted from me.
But her mischievous eyes did see.
With loving arms, she took me in.
She made me smile and laugh again.
With understanding and tenderness,
She made me feel alive once more.
Reaching out to touch her in the night,
Stirs my heart with such delight.
And when she purrs and takes my hand,
Fairies dance and sing across the land.
My beautiful angel, My wonderful friend,
Go with me around this bend.

Walt, I love the baby picture, and the romantic verses kept this reader interested and enjoying until the last line. Having someone in life is very important and can add such spice to life in general.
Beautiful poem that brought the thought that we are always searching for something and usually its right there before us in our reach. Beautiful little baby--now there lies much joy for years to come.
