Haven't we all faced this?

Poem Artwork

I’m talking about lack of sleep,

Ain’t counting no friggin sheep,

Trying to get to sleep.

Ah, sleep elusive,

Makes one reclusive.

Never abusive,

Except to oneself.

Folks don’t realize,

How sleep does energize.

Not like boring,

Exercise.

Lead me Lord, and pray to keep,

Me safe from harm,

And let me sleep

I've know such sleeplessness and it does take a toll on our daytimes. May you sleep well tonight Walt. Enjoyed the poem and could relate.

my sympathy Walt -- insomnia has been a lifelong ,unwelcomed companion of mine -- thyroid disorder is the greatest contributing factor in my case -- along with the myriad of things almost everyone has experienced from time to time -- nothing I have tried in my years has successfully overcome the dilemma --I just try to adjust -- peace and lots of quality sleep -- JMW

I think we all have - Let Me Sleep - Amen!

Amen and Amen, Walt, feel like a bear if I don't get my rest. Hope sleep comes soon, but please wake up when you get enough - don't stay in hibernation. :) Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

A good discussion with a friend and a couple of Captain Morgan dark rum will knock you off until late morning tomorrow, waking up relaxed, happy and with good memories of a good friend.
But please don't snore, it make the dogs start howling.

Walt, there are many reasons why we cannot sleep, but the underlying cause is stress. We live in a very stressful time right now, and there are many of us who suffer from this same ailment. I hope you will get a good nights sleep tonight, I will send you healing waves of sleepy energy...lol (I will if you want me to)
Much peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"
