I Put Down The Camera

The horns of a dilemma at home.

Poem Artwork

I put down the camera,
And pick up the pen.
Then put down the pen,
And pick up the camera again.

Can’t you just see what,
A predicament I’m in?
I’m stuck between mediums,
This dilemma must end.

Go out for a walk with my camera,
Yes, that’s what I’ll do.
But it's no answer to my dilemma,
There’s a rock in my shoe.

So back I go,
To my little den.
I put down the camera,
And look at my pen.

BigGrin! I have this dilemma all the time, Walt. I'm a quarter mile from Rocky Mountain National Park and have a 7x7 bull elk peaking in my window right now. Should I write about it, or go for my camera and risk scaring it off? Terry

...take ur camera & get a minature tape recorder or such, then you can talk to yourself while taking pictures...
