a place we would like to be more.

The summer’s eve aroma of jasmine filled her nostrils,
She enjoyed the soothing water of the hot tub as she gazed at the stars.
A slight smile she felt at the thought of him,
He made her laugh; reminding her that she could again.
Yet life takes the least expected course you can imagine.
A slight breeze and the tantalizing jasmine came fresh again.
Reminding her she is the guardian of her own happiness,
Guards it well she does.
She can’t be convicted,
She’s paid her dues.
The jasmine…..
She floats away to a place of nothing,
A place she would like to stay for awhile.
