A mountain woman

Poem Artwork

Smell of Jasmine
In the hot tub
Acting, speaking
These things are her.

Bears outside the window
Are nothing new to her.
A true mountain woman.

Independent yet not,
The qualities that she has make one human.
Longing for another’s touch,
Yet not needing it.
A friend for life she will be.
To those who need her most.

But beware, she pack a gun.

There's nothing like being shot down by a woman with a pistol and a whip...but am glad she has a good heart.

This sounds like my sister-in-law. I always feel safe when she's around. She's from them thar hills and she is beautiful inside and out. I'll show this to her. I'm sure she'll love it.

My girl, packa a few guns too, a shot gun and a muzzle loader & various other weapons that I don't approve of, but its her life so I don't make my disapproval known...good to see you writing again...lets some more from you...-e-
