Flowers of the future!

There on a fine spring day

I see the garden have my say

The seeds I planted in the fall

Before the winter came to call

Wondrous and beautiful

A sea of fragrance full

Of butterflies and bumblebees

All there is, the eyes to please

Life’s luxurious lush born hoard

To me abandoned by the lord

Thankful on my knees I hold

Fruits of the seeds he had foretold

The sweet nectar of the bee

The flower shares with me

Its leaves keep all alive

The tiny, to the largest thrive

All is alive, all from heavens glory

Ants and chipmunks have their story

To be with all, and take good care

Admonished by the lord to share

And in the autumn deep

Pray the lord for all to keep

Every mouse and little critter small

To see another spring and fall

A thank you to my Mother Earth

And to the one that gave her birth

That gave me joy and mirth and life

And lent expression to my strife

My life gives back to her in death

All my dreams I did confess

Let others grow on those remains

Recompose all weeds and stains

So that another perfect spring

Were birds and crickets sing

And bloom in the quilt of life

Let others in her glory strife!

An ode to spring which I enjoyed very much. You took us through the seasons and it turns out that we come about again and are reborn each spring. Now I can believe God is everywhere and in everything present here on this earth.

As winter approaches, you're already thinking about a new bountiful year - sprinkled with kindness, nuturing it, and bringing it to ultimate fruition. Still you keep this love growing throughout the year. He likes that you want to garden and grow goodness all your life.

God bless you. Kathy

You thank Her extremely well, as we should all be doing, each and every day, in all four seasons, for the marvelous Creation that we far too often take for granted, and even very sadly, abuse and destroy.
