The love of one of Gods children, an angel that was send,
Another angel that grew into my heart,
So many, many blessings in such ways I’ve received,
From ladybug to damselfly and little mole, of my love is part,
Would it, had I not in love believed.
Love is bigger than our species,
As God would surely tell,
Not wise enough is there a thesis,
Without such love, life, it sure be hell.

Poem Artwork

Raven black and wise it is,
This child now fully grown,
A child as dear as this,
I am proud to call my own,

A baby girl brought it to me,
Please Sir, its mommy is up there,
She can not fetch him don’t you see,
Would you, for her take care?

Such love and innocence it moved my heart,
And so I cradled this child, into my arms,
Therein it grew of me be part,
With all its truly precious charms,

I toiled from morn till night,
To love and feed it till it grew,
When finally it would take flight,
Near heaven it then flew,

Yet every day, it still comes round,
It knows our bond of love is there
Wherein a tray some food is found,
When we our love do share,

Nothing would that me surprise,
A family it bring of three,
And many more now fill the skies,
All now are a part of me,

When the last of morsels I will share,
Gladly reach what I can give,
Till when my bones to heaven stare,
Gave all so it could live.©26/11/2012

From an innocent and loving child's heart to the hands of The Bird Whisperer - a marvelous tale of compassion and love, sir. If only there were thousands more among us with tales such as this.

this is so wonderful how creatures can show us their affections
as we too know how to show ours, and our love and kindness
it is such a wonderful heart that spills with so much generosity
as your Jasmin, Thank You

As "birds of the feather" you seem to flock them together...and take such care with them. Great message within your poem!

Is much better to give than to receive. I can see from your poem, that you gave it all. Whatever is left of my savings I will give at the end of my life so that some youngster can grow and save the earth and the 21st-century.
