Another poem from the archives, a late Indian Summer day at the shore...Nov.2005
"Power of the Ocean"
by Amber Moonstone
11/05/05
The Ocean is my salvation
I shall always be drawn to its magnetic powers
It is My Sacred Place
It brings me tranquility and peace.
Always a place to go to for me.
When I have that feeling of Wanderlust,
It brings me right to the ocean.
My mind travels to my sacred place...the ocean.
I travel in my mind to many places,
but the ocean is the object of my tranquility.
I crave the sun and the sounds of the ocean,
the cleansing salt water on my body.
The ocean never fails to comfort me
I am always at peace there
Even if it is only in my mind.
I can feel the waves slowly taking me away.
They are like majestic liquid tranquility.
I love the smell of the ocean breeze,
it fills my senses with sensuality.
It touches my body with soft caresses
that warms my soul with a fire that is burning!
I believe in, the power of the ocean.
Author's Notes: On Nov.5, 2005, I spent three hours at the beach. writing in my journal and just reflecting.
It was an amazingly late Indian summer day.
Peace. light and much joy!

I too, am constantly drawn to the ocean...although mine is the Pacific as I was born at its edge. I am a moonchild born on July 4th so I have an affinity for the power of the moon and stars...yet the ocean is my mistress. Excellent writing.
