Amber and Moonstone,
Juniper and Tommy girl.
Love, Light and Peace
Are all essence of me.
I have been introspective today,
writing and meditating
finding peace within
with light illuminating from my soul.
Principles of desire,
Principles of lust,
Principles of love,
shall not rule my world any longer.
I have let my desires rule,
lost sight of the essence of my spirit!
No more wallowing in self indulgence,
I shall make a new peace with my soul.
I will walk this earth with a desire for peace,
I will spread light to all that comes into my essence,
and I will love myself with the power of my own desires.
No more darkness shall invade my clear mind.

Great piece full of insight...hope rules eternal by the forces of nature and we must not forget the premise of happiness is to allow happiness to come in many forms, including love.

Although this poem does sound a bit like an affirmation but I like it, and happy trails to you. But those principles you spoke of come from the ego mind, I find it's best to negotiate the terms of surrender first. Such dier coscequences may throw your muse in a noose. :)
Interesting flow and a purity of idea here that shines off the page from your spiritual aura.

Meditating, even as the dessert fathers found, they were stunned thinking they had overcome everything, to find, they still had thoughts of sex, worldly stuff, and most of all food.
Being a bloke, when I meditate in the Christian way, my mind still wanders to the fine feminine form. As I guess it will till I find the right compatible lady, all others are a waste of precious time and energy. As the right person is heaps more than just sex. She is what makes life worth fighting for, all blokes need a thing to fight for, be appreciated for, and a beaut to care for, who in turn brings the best qualities out of him...
