Many times we do things without knowing we are hurting another.

"Forgiveness"

by Amber "Vivianna" Moonstone
11/22/07

Forgive me for being careless
Forgive me for being selfish
Forgive me for not being a good friend.

But most of all forgive me for losing my head!

We have all said these words before,
To one person or many in our lives.
Sometimes things happen,
we are careless, selfish, or thoughtless.

We do things that feel right at the time,
disregarding how it affects others,
it truly becomes a break in compassion.

Sometimes, you lose your mind,
you become so wrapped up in a moment,
that you lose all concept of right or wrong.

When this happens,
you have to regroup,
rethink what is truly important,

When you do see clearly,
you begin to lovingly,
Forgive yourself.

author's notes: I am truly sorry, please forgive me...words that many do not say, or sometimes say and do not mean. I have asked for forgiveness many times, because after all I am human just like everyone else.
Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V" Moonstone

We all have done it many times...lose our mind, fly off the handle, whatever you call it, it is just a matter of not thinking before we put our tongue in gear.

Sometimes, you lose your mind

I think we are all guilty of this, from time to time, and you remind us very well. And I love that picture.

Poems can also be gifts, messages to those we know: friends, family, lovers, people who live far...

Poetry has infinite functions indeed!

Beautiful birds in the picture!!!

Cheers,

Dear Amber, You have a big heart. Wise is the one that can see their own faults and then act apon what needs to be done to repair the situation. All you can do is say you are sorry. Once that is said it is then up to the other to make a choice as to what they wish to do. Sadly, many do not know unforgiveness, do not practice it, but in your case I trust this will not be the case. Love Holly
