Rescued Hearts

Fantastic Voyage of the deep
filtering transparent dreams
into beautiful reality.
One moment in time
begins minutes in rhyme
formulating connecting threads
of infinite colorful stitches.
Seaming together life's story
never holding back the glory.
Building images upon images
only to be brought down
like a flag on a flagpole.
Quickly and without care
these transparent dreams
become luminescent schemes.
Twinkling with the sparkle of life,
descending into the depths of despair
where nothing dwells to compare
to the enlightenment
that will be found deep within
your every rescued heart!
author's notes:
I was talking with a friend tonight, and our conversation always came back to this one fact, we can only be the one to rescue ourself, especially our wounded hearts.
I "almost" closed out my P.C. to gift wrap, then rescued caught my eye, I was drawn in and I know why!

Most of the problems we face in life are self-inflicted just as most of them can be fixed by us, if we look inside with truth!

I feel that the self is all empowering and that what we need is found inside of us. A broken heart can mend when we are ready for conditioning and setting aside the past.
Love is truly a fantastic voyage. Yet, its departure leaves one struggling until you find that strength to move forward and rescue yourself. The poem, picture and your thoughts are so "right on."
