Awakening by the light of the sunrise,

I realize that you never came back.

What was I to do?

Just walk away and live my life?

There is no life without you,

The rain loses its softness,

The sun looses its luster,

And the evenings become endless.

Dreams are shattered,

Minds become scattered,

And my heart’s realization

Becomes a deepened sadness.

Do you understand what you have done?

Can you really face another sun?

Knowing you have destroyed my heart

Into thousands of pieces falling apart.

I cannot go on without you,

I longed many years for your touch,

And daydreamed of your manly scent,

Only to be left in this sad realization

That I was here

And you never stayed

To fulfill our destiny

To become one!

Oh the sadness of this realization,

That you were filled with fear

Of unwarranted thoughts

That I wouldn’t love you.

I am beginning to see

That perhaps you were right,

That you are incapable of my deepest love

And now I stand with this Realization!
