"Water Flows Toward Enlightenment"

by Amber "V" Moonstone

12/28/09

Water flows toward the endless sea,
the strength of this flow amazes me,
flowing from the river,
through the brooks and down
the many waterfalls
that stretch through my back yard.

Watching the thunderous flow,
as the Earth melts all the snow,
makes me aware of my own life's energy.
Is It as smooth and natural as the Earth's flow?

At this very moment it is not.
I am blocked, closed, alone, lonely, sad,
overworked, stretched too far...
but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel,
It is this light that always sustains my soul.

I must go to my sacred place;
that place that always ignites
the light that constantly dwells within.
The days that are the darkest,
reep the most lightness.

To remind me of my goodness,
to remind me of my destiny,
to remind me of my journey,
and mostly to remind me that
the Universe is counting on me
to deliver what I treasure the most,
"Peace, love and lightness!"

What I have seen today,
has sparked a flicker of hope
that I will soon be on the right
path toward my energy flow
into the endless sea of life.

author's notes:  Happy New Year!
May your life's energy flow like a babbling brook
after a thaw!

nature has always been a saving grace when I've felt unbalanced, this lovely brook is a precious sacred space to uplift you...however you are reminded true bliss is never found in the external world, it must be created within you...

love and light,

The earth will always take care of itself, its inhabitants not so much. I like your positive message which is obviously heartfelt. Patrick

Life and water are so intrinsically linked and we can so often see the allegory of this around us. Twists, turns, rocks, damns so many adventures around each bend. Great capture Amber.

Dear Amber, This poem is very nice and true. I remember once watching the flow which was so rapid and uninterrupted. It is magic, and I felt the flow in my veins. Thank you for sharing. Let's hope that this coming year may bring a flow of happiness and success. Love Emile

There's something in your poetry that you've become that I relate too but never quite realized in my "word poetry" - I have and continue to do so but in music, but alas, people just don't get that or seem interested enough to patronize mine. Maybe I'll get back to poetry someday soon - before I do: I'll read you (some more)
later, michael (and Happy New Year if I don't get back to ya)
