Riding Upon A Falling Star

Searching the heavens toward the stars
Seeing their magnificent glowing light
through the eyes of a dreamer
sends ripples of imagination and wonder.
There I catch a glimpse of a falling star.

If I could step upon that falling star
what kind of energy would I feel
Would it be hot?
Would it be so bright
as if to blind me into submission?

Your energy feels like this falling star,
so deeply moving
and out of reach
that my soul feels the pain of absence.

Somewhere in the heavens
there is the star that you are seeing
within our parallel existence
of distant brilliant cosmic light.
