Joy

Joy is like splendor in the grass,
it fills you with awe,
and sometimes tickles your ass.

Joy is like leaping blindly into the night,
exciting and exuberant,
and sometimes sqeezes you tight.

Joy is like a shower on a warm summer day,
enlightenment and peace,
and sometimes makes you want to pray.

Joy brings clarity to your mind,
open and free as a bird in flight,
filling you with answers you must find.

When feeling joy, never lose sight
don't get caught up in false feelings of elation
or confusion that must be set right.

When you truly feel joy,
You will know
that it is not a toy.
