My New Voyage

The quiet lull of the ocean waves,
captures my mood,
sending vibrational energy
throughout my whole body.

I stand upon the shores of time,
looking out at the horizon,
shifting my thoughts from confusion
to purest feelings of love.

I drop the rose from my hand,
feeling the ocean waves
gently accepting this peace offering
I am now, aware of my own destiny.

The rose is a symbol of my love,
the ocean a sieve for all sadness and pain.
The cleansing motion of the waves
wash over my feet as if to water my soul.

I can feel the clean crisp water,
seeping up to my knees,
soothing my tired legs,
that stand always sturdy on the ground.

I lift them as if light as a feather,
feeling no more negativity
only cool patient vibes
that saturate my mind.

It is with this motion
by throwing the symbol of my love
into the ocean's depths,
I feel baptized into another lifetime.

Rebirth, rejuvenation, realizations,
come full throttle into my mind's eye,
and You are the Captain of my new voyage
I shall follow you toward eternity!
