Stormy

Embracing as turbulent winds blow,
knowing lovers flee, toward safe shore.
One heart, two souls, beat in unison
as each step seals their destiny.
Forbidden fruit picked,
Undeniable attraction
as strong as the windy eve,
pushes them in the right direction.
Softly they touch,
lighting up the most distant star;
their love reaching the heavens
as they begin their dance of love.
Temptation survived,
while many attempts to deny
this stormy attraction of two
destined like-minded souls.
Strong as the wind,
desire and love fill their souls,
and the heavens reach out
offering shelter from this storm.
Awaiting amongst the clouds,
are guardian angels,
protecting their every move,
coaxing them to continue.
The rain begins to fall,
the angels begin their song,
triumphantly the lovers dance,
beneath the stormy sky.
