Icy weather and heated longing for him, inspired this poem.

Keeping The Soul Warm
by Amber "V" Moonstone
2/23/11

Surrounded by frigid weather,
your warmth keeps my soul tender,
loving thoughts and careless whispers,
dispels any negativity and gloom.

Chilling air, frosty breath,
icy heat dwells deeply within
the depths of longing
for the warmth of your loving arms.

Can absence of the naked heart,
beat to the sound of frigid eulogies;
enticing warm breezy southern yearnings
to bring you back to my open arms?

Keeping the soul warm
renders me helpless
to your constant energy
that influences my moods.

I only need to look out at
the lights twinkling across
the darkened ocean,
and know that you are there.

Comfort and tenderness,
fill my soul, while
wanderlust begins to take over,
keeping my soul warm, till you return to me.

Your verses are powerfully compelling in meaning and emotions expressed, Amber; and I can relate. Love and best wishes to you,

I agree with Christine. This is a very romantic piece about a love to come and hold and keep you warm on these very cccold nights of this bone chilling winter. Thank ou Amber for sharing this delightful poem, and know that it brough a smile and happy tears too. Now where did I put those tissues?

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Innate wisdom of the heart, Amber...
and just wait until he's with you and can see that incredible awakening of winter's dormant expressions!

The heat of passionate love sometimes isn't enough to warm you on those cold, frigid days. Longing for a lover, a sometimes tragic exercise.
