Transforming

by Amber "V" Moonstone

Reflections on past life
coming full circle
recalling childhood memories
brought clarity into my mind.

Sitting on the beach,
where I played each summer
catapulted me into a realization
I have come back full circle to my roots.

I have been drifting for the past two years,
wondering where I belonged,
should I leave my job, my home,
start fresh once again.

It seems to happen to me,
every seven years.
I have always been on the seven year cycle.
Never really understanding this until today.

I didn't do anything to change my life two years ago,
that would have been a seven year cycle.
No wonder  I have been a wandering lost soul.
I am now making changes that will enhance my life.

It's funny, when you stop and really look,
you see what is clearly in front of you,
that it was always there, but you failed to open
your eyes and heart to what the Universe was saying.

Transformation is the key to moving forward,
Transfixing is no longer an option.
One must always make choices to transform
our lives for the better.

Be proactive,
Open your eyes,
Open your heart
and let the Universe guide your way.

The words to this are uplifting and in ways we as the reader can view our situation in life's many unforeseen boundaries... No limits of the imagination and the path by which we live day in and day out... Thanks for sharing...

Gee whiz Amber, I love the photo! You have no idea how much I miss the ocean. I too have been a cyclical wanderer all my life...

Be always safe,
Karen

Amber, Yes, it is always in front of us and perhaps at that moment
we are not ready to change.

Always,

Integral part of the universal vibration, Amber,
and you articulate it so well; a seven-year 'itch'?
mine, i think, is a 12-yr but then my emotional
metabolism may be on a slower clock.
i like your vision.

It may be because I teach adolescents that I am pro-teen, but biased as I am, you have to admire their resilience, their ability to rebound from difficult situations, their (forgive the almost inane pun) protean nature. Your poem resounds with this palpable truth: adaptation, transformation yields growth. A positive message from a positive person. Thank you, Amber.

Yes, I think you're right about there being a rhythm to all of this! You have wisdom, so important to open wide and surrender, instead of resisting which by the way I am doing at this very moment...so stubborn...
thank you once again for a very helpful poem Amber! :)
Ever,
Christine
