Voices In The Wind"

Ocean waves pounded the surf,
Chilly winds filled my soul,
the morning air cleared my mind.
It was an usual day at the shore,
January winds blew in
a gusty storm that invigorated me.
I was back in my sacred space.
rising with the sunless sky,
to capture a rare moment in time.
I could hear the waves pounding,
the desolate beach,
winds so strong it knocked you sideways.
I was not afraid,
I embraced these winds,
and heard the voices in the wind..
"You are moving along,
steady, strong and determined.
Do not stop for anything."
I walked back into the safety
of the cottage,
got back into bed to let dreaming take over.
Again I awoke to the sound of the wind,
this time, I knew that I would be fine,
for those voices know all....

I could almost feel the winds coming off the beach,
the smell of sea air, and the scenery, all came to mind
vividly with this,thank you,
