You had me thinking of something else. But then my mind is always pretty near that place. And then you hit me with a moral. There's a lot to be learned from the natural order of things. Sometimes a glass of wine in the evening can make a spider into a knight. Then again, a boy turned into a spider can make millions at the box office.

Your tiny tale is a huge tale, full of wit, wisdom, and wonderful observation. I very much like the "knowing that somehow our energy connected". That is the anthem of this song. "Relaxing sipping wine" is a winner opening line, and "melting into the sunset" is the cherry on top. Good piece! ~~ Diana

For I am an observer of nature, none of which frightens me... they seem to know as well.

But how lovely it would have been to capture this creature on film.

But, lol... bale? I suppose if you feel you are in danger of death!

Love the moral, Amber! Travel lightly is a good motto indeed. I adore moments of privilege like this, to be at one with the world in which we live and with the universe - wine always helps! :)) I find it intensely humbling when creatures choose to share their worlds with us and it staggers me how I can be 55 years old and yet know so little about the lives of those who share my personal habitat... family included! LOL!! A mellow and satisfying write and I love the voicing. xx

Wow! I learned something. I didn't know spiders ate their webs, I just thought they left them. You should have got a photo of him/she/? chomping away on his web.
