Your poem held many pieces of magic in its lines for me. So many therapy-giving facets you placed in this poem, the reading of it feels nothing less than refreshing. Making the last stanza italicized was a plus, and underscoring your premise of 'balance, ' those elements given were perfect....rocky, steadfast, lifting and grounding, racing and wakeful moments. Amber ~
A day of ocean breeze and essence of the salty air
ahhh! to love that ! Sea shells to hold in ones hand !
The best a day can bring in your poetry along the ocean shore.

Just one day at the ocean,
turns my head to level ground,
planting one foot upon the shore,
brings balance once more.
