The snow gives an impression that the cold air is warmer, yet still very invigorating. In the ground is much softer to roll on when there are snow on it. Enjoyed.

Outstanding piece, Amber, in every level I read it in, ie. 'Running', Your breath', 'Stalling', 'Snow covered', 'Laughter', 'Rolling on the ground'. I love the stress on so many different levels, it hurts, but comforts, at the same time. True poetry states whats what, and, nobody gets it.

Great poem to stifle the nor'easter headed your way. What double whammy, but at least the nor'easter won't do the damage as the storm did. Keep high and keep dry.
