Power of Life

Far from the maddening crowd,
stands freedom and peace,
it is only a fingertip away.
Life can be so hectic,
so stressful and full of craziness,
but the only true peace lies within.
Standing on a three foot mound of snow,
feeling the wind blow across my cheeks,
gave me the power to feel alive.
It's been a long cold winter,
filled with way too many demands,
stress beyond belief!
The time spent inside,
buried beneath three feet of snow,
gave way to life awakenings.
No more stress, no more demands,
only freedom and peace shall reign
in my domain.
Come spring,
Come sunshine,
Come radiant peace.
I command an audience of the same,
Each seat will be filled with peace and love,
and all of us shall feel the power of life!

all but the mounds of snow, it brings too many crazy memories
of shoveling side walks and driveways.......
