Hope Is Lightness

Back to work, hectic schedules, lot's of costumes to design...oh my! I traveled back from Virginia and went through a long tunnel and when I saw the light at the end that is what inspired this poem!!

Hope Is Lightness

Shining just ahead,
shadows of darkness
filtering through,
light at the end of the tunnel.

Any situation that seems bleak
or relationship that is ending,
there is hope,
that light, at the end of the tunnel.

Traveling a long journey,
coming out of turmoil and frustration,
that glimmer of hope
to see that light at the end of the tunnel.

Never give up hope,
lightness and divinity,
shall reign triumphant, when you
travel through the light, at the end of the tunnel.

So many phases and cycles in life we all may go through and they each have their light at the end. You sound kind of excited to get back to the grind again.

Ed is right, for many of us, the long dark tunnel seems like it would never end, but it has, for me, twice.

You work sounds very interesting… Nothing like the long dark frustrating tunnel you describe… Unless you are hoping for retirement to get away from it.

The only hope one has is to make the right decisions in life, putting your hopes in anything else or any one else is a pipe dream. But ever give up on your quest.

Eh, I have to say, Amber, I've had that light fade out and disappear more times that one. It's a good thing I was good at working in the dark.
