"A Perfect World?"

In the perfect world,
You would be my mystical guru.
Tending to my emotional well being.
At the moment you are not here,
absent from my physical being,
but in my heart you are very much alive.
Sometimes I can feel your presence,
it's as if I can reach out and touch you,
But only in dreams you visit.
When those dreams are vivid,
I can feel your essence,
I can hear your heart beating.
You say the right words,
You touch in the right way,
But, you always leave me wanting more.
It's that yearning that drives a person to delirium,
wanting something you cannot have,
How does this happen?
One day in that perfect world,
You will be my mystical guru,
and we will both be emotionally balanced.

PS. I read in the news this morning that rumors of a colossal storm next week were a hoax. It's really getting ridiculous when hoaxers start messing with the weather.
I guess we are both talking about someone we feel presence in our dreams. I was just visited by someone several nights ago and that was why I had written my poem "Stranger". I'm glad I was not the only one who feels someone else's presence, but I have yet to find out if that was only a dream or was I awake. LOL!!! Sounds confusing, doesn't it?
