 Wind Bath

By Amber :"V" Moonstone
3/23/14

Have you ever taken a wind bath?
It's invigorating and energizing
It blows the cobwebs right out of your mind,
leaving you quite clear and grounded.

I was standing on the shore today,
thinking of all the things that I miss,
most about living in the moment.
It's was enligtening to say the least.

I was envisioning myself on the same beach
but it was the middle of the summer
when the warmth of the sun touched my face,
and the breeze from the ocean cooled my desire.

Standing on the frozen beach,
gave me a feeling of invincibility,
I knew that the wind would cleanse my fatigue,
and give me a renewed sense of wonderment.

I needed to reconnect with Mother ocean,
It was a very good day in Old Lyme,
the sun was shining on the water,
and the wind was bathing my soul.

OH YES! How I love the feel of the wind
coursing over my body... I chant while its
gentle fingers remove all the old negativity
from me and replace it with fresh healing...

Thank you for this view Amber :)

Love your poem Amber...bath in awareness...
bath in sound...bath...that makes full sense to
all my senses...the gentle caress of air on my skin
and fleeting thoughts in my mind...
Thank you for sharing the experience of mindfulness
meditation.

Last time this happened to me I was on the beach in Diano Marina in Italy...it was wonderful and exhilarating! The only downside was a piece of grit blew I to my eye!

These days I find the wind can take my body heat away so quickly that I don't enjoy it at all. However, there's nothing like the breeze on a hot day tickling every hair on bare skin. It's too bad every beach can't be a nude beach where we get our dose of skin cancer in all the wrong places and feel that breeze tease.
